Welcome, I'm Mark Manthorne, the proud owner-operator of The Scotsman Custom Millwork. With my background as a Red Seal cabinetmaker and over a decade of hands-on experience, I bring a unique blend of craftsmanship and dedication to every project. Having honed my skills over the past 10 years, I've had the privilege of creating bespoke pieces and transforming spaces for my clients. My journey in the world of craftsmanship has been marked by a commitment to precision, quality, and innovation.

In addition to my career as a Cabinetmaker, I am a retired member of the Canadian Armed Forces with 22 years of service. My time in the military has instilled in me a strong sense of discipline, leadership, and a profound appreciation for attention to detail—qualities that seamlessly translate into my work as a cabinetmaker.

Beyond the workshop, I find fulfillment in my retirement pursuits, which include keeping active with the 12 Wing Shearwater Pipes and Drums as a long-time piper in the band. These experiences not only enrich my life but also inspire creativity in my work.
